Bank of America announced the opening of the first of three "outreach" centers in Nevada to help distressed and underwater homeowners modify their mortgages.

Today,Bank of America announced the opening of the first of three "outreach" centers in Nevada,help distressed and underwater homeowners modify their mortgages.

"Bank of America has been very active in working on financial solutions for our mortgage customers in Nevada, including a dedicated mobile team that has been in the state since January and frequent participation in homeowner outreach events,"

said Rebecca Mairone, national servicing executive for Bank of America Home Loans.

Bank of America mortgage customers in Nevada may make appointments to meet with a specialist at the Henderson outreach center by calling a state-dedicated toll-free hotline, 877.345.6416, between 5 a.m. and 9 p.m., Monday through Friday. Appointments are available from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., weekdays. The center, located at 2285 Corporate Circle, Suite 100, is not set up for walk-in consultations.
